Tasmanian Gold moisturises, soothes, and protects dry skin with natural oils and butters. Our special formulation includes premium Tasmanian ingredients: Hemp Oil, Calendula infusion, Olive Oil, and Lavender Oil.

Available in three natural scents, as well as Unscented.

Secret Garden - Warm florals: Patchouli, red Rose, and Sandalwood.
Fresh Mojito - Uplifting and soothing: wild Lime and fresh Spearmint.
Country Cottage - Comforting and warm: fragrant woods, spices, Orange, and Vanilla.
Unscented - Although it is not scented with essential oils, you may still detect the subtle aroma of the ingredients (eg. the chocolate-like scent of Cocoa Butter)

 

What is a lotion bar?

Basically, a lotion bar is a solid block of lotion used for moisturizing skin. It is made with plant-based ingredients that stay solid at room temperature but will melt a little from your body heat, allowing you to apply the lotion bar as needed. It is easily stored in our recyclable and reusable tin.  Although it does resemble soap, it is not soap and can not be used to clean your skin.

The word "lotion" implies an emulsion of oils and water, however our lotion bar does not contain any water and more closely resembles a balm or a butter. It absorbs quickly and will not leave a sticky or oily feeling. 

There are many benefits to using Tasmanian Gold, including:

To use, simply warm the bar in your hands and rub in only as much as you need. Perfect for dry hands, elbows, knees, feet, or anywhere that needs some extra moisture. Can be used by the whole family.

Great for beards

My beard gets dry and scraggly so I thought I would try a lotion bar rather than the oils that are difficult to distribute. I was recommended Tasmanian Gold (do contact them and ask for their advice on the right scent for you) and I am loving it. The bar is not too soft so it is really easy to manage the amount of lotion you want. I apply it by rubbing upwards to get under the beard and then down to smooth out and straighten the hairs. The smell is incredible without being overwhelming. I feel like I need a few now depending on my mood. I highly recommend Tasmanian Gold however for men as it is more of a masculine smell.

We like to make the scents more subtle for the lotion bars because people often use them as body lotion and sometimes on their face, so we don't want it to be 'too much'. Secret garden lotion bar

Secret garden lotion bar leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling great. I love using it on my hands before knitting as it helps my projects glide smoothly through my fingers. It s really good on nails as well.

Beauty product of the year!

The Tasmanian Gold lotion bar has been my best beauty find of the year! It is extremely hydrating and non greasy. The lotion bar has the most exquisite balm like texture when warmed in your hands. It has been a real winter essential.The packaging presentation is on point. Definitely a worthy purchase!

Beautiful Product!

Converting over to a re-usable lotion bar has been so much fun for me. This product is so much easier to use than messy liquid lotions. I can instantly feel it hydrating my skin as I warm it in my hands. It feels so nice on my skin, I love using it on my legs which get especially dry and my hands before bed. Works wonders on softening my feet too. I have the Fresh Mojito scent, and it's to die for!
